Relaxation at a local hotel

Aug 2014.  Hotel La Residence in Gammarth, just in the outskirts of Tunisia.  I decided to take a day to relax.  Like I needed one?  Not really, I just needed to not be at home all day so I went with Mark while he attended a Board Retreat at a fancy-schmanchy hotel not too far away.  It is really hot this time of year, it is not a great time to explore around the area unless you are used to the heat.  The hotel is a lovely place and no one "busted me" for lounging without being a guest.  I guess I looked the part.  Besides, I spent some money and had a nice lunch at the pool afterwards.  After Mark's meetings, he met me at this great pool.

Their inside pool.  You can see this in many photos of Tunisia; beautiful.

Of course.  What is a beach without a camel?

I could not help myself.  I think these folks have been laying out here for many years.

Mark was trying to get me to ride the camels.
I will Honey, when we get to the desert!
Not here on the beach.

Parasailing in the distance.

The lane back up to the hotel from the beach.  Lovely place.
