Sept, 2014. Our first visit to the Antoine Baths in Carthage, Tunisia.
The adventure continues. We wander back in the areas where there are not really any tourists. We are to find remnants of an ancient graveyard, a huge Christian church with fabulous mosaics, and a couple of underground worship areas. The sun is bright and hot, there are palm trees everywhere, and not a lot of bugs. A bit dusty, but than again all of Tunisia is a bit dusty. It adds to the ambiance. It cost about 10 Tunisian Dinars a person to enter, plus an additional 1 tnd to take photos, so about $6.50 or $7. The site has walls and or is fenced and there are workers and guards scattered around.
