Set on a hillside with windy, narrow, cobblestone streets, white buildings, blue doors and pink bougainvillea. All set off by the brilliant blue sky and the Mediterranean views. Incredible! Difficult to believe that you are in Africa.
Lots of little shops with the vendors selling pottery, rugs, mosaic pieces, leather crafts, etc. Everyone trying to get you into their store, "just to look" and everyone trying to finagle money from you. Even a fellow with a hawk that wants you to hold the hawk on your shoulder for a photo op for only a few Tunisian dinars. (exchange rate when we arrive is approximately 1 TND = $1.6)
We wandered around and went to lunch.
Once again, it is a photographer's dream!

PineNuts floating in the sweet mint tea. |
Sometimes it is difficult to tell what is more blue? The doors? The sky or the sea?
Tea at a famous Tea House on the hill that has been in business for a few hundred years. These are two new staff members obviously enjoying their new setting.
