Antoine Baths, Carthage - Sept, 2014 pg 2

Sept, 2014.  Our first visit to the Antoine Baths in Carthage, Tunisia.

So much to explore and see.  Every corner is another great photo opportunity.  We are just amazed at these ruins, which are in really good condition, considering.  And right down the street from our house!  This place was really SOMETHING during it's time.  These Romans knew how to live.  The men at least...

Marble columns everywhere.
This pillar was put back together to show
you the height of the ceiling.

You can see the drainage system.

And yet another coffee table!

Mosaics out in the open, still decent after
a couple of thousand years!

The bottom layer where the slaves worked.

Indiana Jones movie or what?

And here is Indiana Jones himself!
This is part of a huge wall that has crashed down.

And wouldn't this make a perfect base for a table????

I want this as a table!!!
This area is like a graveyard for unwanted columns.
